Salmon River Fishing Report 10/13/10

Short and sweet report tonight.

Simply the best Fall river season I have had in years.

From good water flows, to nice weather, to great guests along with good food and cigars, to over 50 steelhead landed in the last 30 days, to the largest salmon we have seen in ten years. Somebody pinch me, so I can wake up from the dream! Better yet don't!

Salmon are really winding down early but there are still enough to play with. Trout seem to be everywhere, but the guys are killing them all. Please put the trout back, we can catch them again and again. Think about it!

Eggs, beads and flies are taking the trout and we are hitting salmon on plugs out of the boat and skein.
