High Adventure Sportfishing

Lake Ontario Fishing Report 8/2/10

Brown trout fishing has been outstanding for weeks, with many fish topping the scale at 12 plus pounds!!

Yesterday we got hit wit h a strong east southeast winds we got the cold water we have been lookiong for. Unfortunately it came up way too fast and the bite was off.

(Sorry Bob).We struggled for a few fish and the salmon were again playing hard to get. Today was right back on track as the trout wanted to feed and a few off-shore anglers found a mix of mature kings, teenagers and trout in 300 to 500 FOW

Trout continue to pound Dream Weaver and Michigan stinger spoons in anything green and or yellow.

Salmon are taking the same spoons along wtih Green and white e-chips, and Atomik flies in Big Fin Glow, Sweetpea and glow hammer.

Hopefully this big switch in temperature & current will bring in the big boys.

Stay Tuned!!

I still have August 6th in the morning and August 11, 12, 13, 18 in the afternoon.
