High Adventure Sportfishing

July 2011 Newsletter

Greeting to all my fishing friends,

June is in the books and what a month it was! I can not believe the year is half over.

Fat healthy hard fighting brown trout entertained our guests every trip out. Limit catchers were the norm and we mixed in a good number of lake trout steelhead as well. It was our best Spring season in years!

Salmon were very scarce the entire month, until yesterday when a hard stubborn West wind created the perfect condition for our Chinooks to ride the tide, so to speak to the eastern basin.

We hammered salmon and trout from two to 17 pounds in stiff winds and choppy white capped seas. The wind was relentless but the bite was on from beginning to end. We ended up with a very respectable double digit day!

As you probably already know I have maintained my rates for the last three years in spite of rising fuel and operational costs. I am quite certain that next year will bring a rate increase, but I will offer any of my 2011 guests the old price in 2012. This is just one more reason to give us a call and lock in a day this summer.
